Meyer Dental is the best dental office I have ever been to. The staff are all so friendly. They make you feel so welcome from the minute you walk in. They talk you through every procedure and make you feel very comfortable throughout the process. You can tell all of the staff members are extremely knowledgeable, which makes me feel confident that my teeth are in good hands!

Dr. Blankenburg and his staff, especially my hygienist, Shanna are so caring and trustworthy. I don’t love going to the dentist (who does?) but, this office and staff make it more comfortable. I highly recommend them all.

I found Meyer Dental on accident because they had an available appointment on the specific day I needed. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made!! I have always been scared of the dentist due to past teeth issues, and they made me feel so comfortable. It was the first time I've had a truly positive experience at the dentist. Everyone is so kind, and when I had an appointment on my birthday, they gave me a beautiful insulated cup and birthday card. I normally don't write reviews, but my experiences here have been so phenomenal that I just had to. You will not regret making an appointment here!! I will never go anywhere else again!

From someone who is terrified of the dentist:-The environment is calm as soon as you enter, I have always been greeted by name-Hygienists are the kindest people, they have never rushed my cleaning or dental work prep, always keep me updated on where we are during the process, checks in on my comfort level-Dr. Meyer and Dr. Blankenburg- keeps me updated/explains the process, checks my comfort level, haven't ever rushed me during my visit, again the kindest people!Thank you Meyer Dental, I appreciate you all!edit: went from crying, hyperventilating, and panicking mid appointment to sitting in a chair with no problems, these guys really are the bees knees.

Amazing and very friendly! I'm always very hesitant when I have to find a new dentist (I moved from Illinois last year) because I've had some pretty bad experiences with dentists. Long story short, I've needed a lot of dental work done so I've spent my fair share of hours in the chair.Meyer dental made me feel welcome, they took their time to get to know me, they took their time to get to know what makes me anxious and to make sure that I felt comfortable at all times. Top notch!

Great people! Hygienist Dara was very gentle and explained her every (before and after) action (with visuals). I learned a lot about my teeth 🤣. Dr. Meyer was very easy to talk to and forthright about what needed to happen for my total oral health. I got a very specific financial breakdown for any and all possible/future procedures from the patient care team before I exited. Highly recommend!

Meyer Dental is fantastic! Dr. Meyer takes very good care of you and if something is not exactly right she will make it right ASAP. In addition, her dental hygienist is the best! Absolutely no pain, and it’s quick and easy. Her office uses the latest technology. In fact, if your crown is a candidate she has a printer that makes crowns. Instead of waiting 3 weeks for your new crown, you get it in about an hour.I would be remiss if I did not mention her dental assistants. They are all outstanding. I have had the pleasure of working with Marie, Zara, and Christina and they are so skilled and knowledgeable. Dr Meyer hires the best of the best.Speaking of the best, the office staff is great. Diane handles all the insurance paperwork with ease and the receptionists are super happy to see you.I actually look forward to seeing my dentist!

I am very disappointed with my experience at Meyers dental. Being this was my first visit I was extremely alarmed when dr. Meyer told me the assistant would be doing my bonding with no supervision from her. The assistant was very sweet (as was doctor Meyer) but it was apparent she was not as confident as doctor Meyer. She repeatedly hurt my gums and commented on how unsure she was about the filling, saying “we will just have to see how long this lasts.” She nicked my front tooth with the drill which I will now have to go get bonding on from another dentist. She and the front desk supervisor also tried extremely hard to sell me on veneers (even after the doctor advised against it) and I was even forced to make another appointment after I told them both no several times.In addition to these bigger issues, the gloves used in the office also had a stench to them and the office chair was uncomfortable to the point that I now have a sore spot on my neck.I was very excited to meet a new dentist who could consult on cosmetic issues I’ve had I was disappointed in the lack of time spent consulting with the actual doctor. I felt like I was pawned off and neglected. I found myself tense and anxious as I waited to be done so I could go home. I’m extremely upset that I will now have to get more bonding done and have less trust in dentists.

The welcoming attitude begins as soon as you walk through the door at Meyer Dental. Rachel is just lovely and warm, very personable. Kira was so gentle during my cleaning and we had the best conversation while I was there, and Dr. B was very nice and efficient. As well, they did not try to pressure me into unneccessary work or into having the work I need done immediately while I cannot afford it yet. I love this place!

I genuinely couldn’t have had a better experience. I’m usually apprehensive about dental work as I’ve had bad experiences in the past and I put off going in for a check up for over 2 years but from the moment I walked in I knew something was different about Meyer Dental, everybody from reception to the dentists were extremely friendly, efficient and accommodating. I had my appointment with Shanna who’s one of the hygienists there. She knew that I had some reservations about dental treatment and went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable and at ease. She explained everything that she was doing along the way and the reasons why behind it. She also took the time to really explore my goals for my teeth and start to game plan how we’re going to achieve them. If I could give more than five stars I would. I never thought I’d say this but I’m actually looking forward to going back and continuing my journey to a healthy and confident smile. Thanks again, I couldn’t recommend more.

I suffer from claustrophobia which makes dental visits difficult to say the least. From my first phone call I've received the most compassionate care and concern for my comfort and well being. My hygienist, Dara, is always aware of my body language and makes adjustments/accommodations as necessary. She is honestly the best! I plan to continue visiting Dr. Meyer and Dara as long as the office is open. I dread thinking of ever having to go somewhere else.

I love First Chair Dental. From the moment I walk in, I always feel cared for and valued as a patient. The work they do is so incredibly thorough and comprehensive. Ashley was wonderful as she took in depth X-rays and photos. She’s wonderful. I had a consult with Dr. B and he went through everything personally. Allison was super kind and helpful too, talking to me after the consult about the financial part of all of this (having the perio plan is crucial for me since I pay out of pocket). I now have a clear dental restorative path, that is absolutely attainable. I had deep cleaning appointments with hygienist Dara, she’s the coolest, sweetest, and best at what she does. They all understand that dental work is scary, intimidating, and overwhelming but they do every single thing they can to make me feel comfortable. This is a long review but honestly I could gush more. I don’t adore dental work but I love going to First Chair. They are simply the best.

I’ve been a patient at Meyer Dental for about three years, and during that time all the staff have been quick to find answers on insurance questions, have never been pushy about a procedure that needs done, and have never once been judgmental about the state of my mouth, of which I’m a little sensitive. The doctors, hygienists and staff are consistently knowledgeable AND kind, and of the highest professional caliber. I will never look for another dentist as long as this place is around.

Love the staff at Meyer dental! They’re very communicative and are always willing to offer insight to services or recommendations based on your wants and needs. I like the Dr that treated me. Dr B? He is very nice and pleasant to work with and did a good job on the shot. The assistant however needs to watch how she presses down on my lips with the tools. She pinched them and caused painful pressure by putting the weight of her hand on my lower lip. She did a good job on the flilling though.

Dr. Sarah Meyer
Dr. Sarah Meyer is originally from Fremont, Nebraska. Her Bachelor’s of Science and DDS degrees are both from Creighton University. During college, she spent a summer in the Dominican Republic helping set up a dental clinic in an underserved area. Even though she wanted to be a dentist since she was little, this reinforced her passion for dentistry. Her husband James is a family physician, and they spend their time with their daughters Annabelle and Madeline. With any free time left, she enjoys cooking, reading, and DIY projects.
